Slovakian company develops flying car that can change from vehicle mode to flying mode, with wings on both sides. This car named ‘AirCar’ will be displayed by the Slovakian Company Klein Vision Ltd in China this year. This advanced means of transportation can be used both in the air and on ground. The entire system is computerized and the transformation is completed at the touch of a button.
A video went viral of this latest generation car where it could be clearly seen how it transforms into a plane in the runway and then takes off for the test flight. The car is suitable for self driven journeys or as a commercial taxi service. The two-seat model weighs 1,100kg and can carry an additional load of 200kg.
An official released, “The 5th generation flying car night by Professor Stefan Klein completed two 1500’ AGL flights at Piestany Airport in Slovakia this week. The model safely achieved two full airport patterns, including two takeoffs and landings.”
The AirCar is powered by a BMW 1.6l engine, and has an effective power output of 140HP. The estimated travel range of this latest generation car is 1,000km and flight consumption of 18l/h.
As per the official website of KleinVision, the flying pattern of AirCar was introduced in 2019 at the China International Import(CIIE), Shanghai.
