According to the reports, two jawans were martyred on the periphery of Srinagar in a terrorist attack, on Thursday.
The barrage took place in the Indian Army’s Road Opening Party at HMT area. Two jawans were injured too. The injured cadres were rushed to the Army hospital. Meanwhile, the entire zone has been sealed off to catch the assailants.
Inspector-General of Police, Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh, stated that, “they were likely conspiring a ‘big’ attack and targeting the District Development Council (DDC) polls in the union territory”.
