Indian capital Delhi rocked twice by earthquakes measuring 3.8 and 4.2 magnitude

December 18, 2020: On Thursday night, i.e December 17th, at 11:46 pm, the residents of Delhi and NCR were woken up by soft tremors of a 3.8 magnitude earthquake that originated 48 km southwest of Gurugram which is 2 km from New Delhi as reported by the National Centre of Seismology. The quake caused no damage to any property but it did evoke a feeling of tension and fear among the public. 

The National capital was shook again today, i.e Friday, December 18th, by another earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on Richter scale, whose epicenter was in Alwar, Rajasthan. 

Another earthquake was confirmed today from North-eastern India that originated from Churachandpur, Manipur with a magnitude of 3.0 on Richter scale.
