A total of 54 crude bombs were found near the BJP office in Kolkata. After the incident, BJP reacted by stating that the West Bengal government was incapable of protecting the people. Police, bomb squad and officers from the anti-rowdy section were called to the location to diffuse the bombs. The investigation to find origins of the bombs is underway.
