Gadkari Nitin reviewed the progress of the Delhi-Mumbai expressway on Sunday and he denied that NHAI was a “debt trap”. He also said that the agency has received the highest rating and all road projects are productive. His words were, “NHAI is not a debt trap and will never be in the future. It is a gold mine and is on strong footing in the next five years, NHAI’s toll income will increase to ₹ 1.40 lakh crore.”
