Barak valley News | Patharkandi block scandal of 15 lakh rupees! Complain to the BDO
In Bandarkona GP of Patharkandi block, there are allegations that in the work of MGNREGA more than 15 lakhs rupees have been scandalised. Patharkandi’s people wrote to their BDO to demand an investigation on this. The locals Saddam Hussain, Muktar Hussain and others have complained that a drain was dug from Bandarkona GP’s Ahmedpur NREP road to Cheragi, Binodini Purta Road.
About 6 lakhs was allocated for the work ID named ICGIS and another Rs 9 lakhs was allocated from MGNREGA for the work of Verantuk canal through Dhansala From the east of Mangaltilla.
They complained that without doing any work in the two projects, without working, the master roll seeds of 5.5 lakh and 2 lakh and 71 thousand have already been made. The locals complained to the concerned GP authorities but no action was taken.
People also complained that corruption had taken place in other government projects in Bandarkona GP. The complaints demanded immediate action.
