Silchar Medical College and Hospital to get more oxygen provision and intensive care units. Before the COVID pandemic showed up, the hospital had around 18 ICU beds. Whereas now, there are 280 ICU beds ready for the general patients. SMCH is getting prepared with sufficient ICU beds for the third wave of coronavirus infection.
