Barak Valley Updates | A house burnt to ashes in Digun tea garden

A house was burnt to ashes in the Digun tea garden. The incident happened on Monday. The house of Anuraj Tanti, a resident of the Taitchhara area of Digun tea garden under Udharbond assembly constituency was burnt down.

On Monday, Anuraj Tanti and his wife left their 12 yr old daughter and youngest son at home for garden work, locals said. At 4 o’clock in the afternoon, the girl saw fire burning around the house. The girl took her younger brother out of the house and started screaming. People started gathering around the house. Later the locals poured water and extinguished the fire.
