Bangladesh violence against Hindus: Memorandum to the President for the persecuted Hindus in Bangladesh by Udharbond Block Congress
Bangladesh violence against Hindus 2021: This time the Udharbond Block Congress roared at the incident of torture and vandalism of idols on the Hindu minority in Bangladesh. A memorandum was handed over to Aditi Nunisa, circle officer Udharbond by a representative of Udharbond Block Congress on Thursday.
After handing over the memorandum, the officials of Udharbond Block Congress said that the situation was destabilized during the Durga Puja by placing the Holy Quran at the lap of Hanuman on the banks of Naludighi in Comilla, Bangladesh. Durga idols, mandapas, temples, and monasteries were vandalized and houses of Hindus were set on fire. Even Hindus are being killed, women are being humiliated. Criticizing the Indian government for not taking any initiative on the incident, they further said that there may be a political conspiracy behind the incident. As a result, even after so many days of the incident, the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi is not saying a word.
Congress officials urged Prime Minister Modi to discuss the matter with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh as soon as possible. Dibyajyoti Barua, Pulak Roy, Akhter Choudhury, Pradeep Tanti, Sipon Barbhuiya, Raju Das, Vidyvati Rabidas, Sudip Dhar, Kamal Laskar, Sunil Nandi, Abdul Laskar, and others were present during the handing over of the memorandum.
