Time Table to have darshan at Kamakhya Temple

The temple remains open from Monday to Sunday, all seven days of the week, excluding the days of Ambubachi Mela. During Ambubachi Mela, the temple remains closed for three days, and no devotees can have a darshan.
The temple opens around 05:30 am and remains open till 01:00 pm for the morning shift. Later the temple resumes visiting the devotees at 02:30 pm till 05:30 pm.

Entry fee to Kamakhya Temple
There is free darshan available for all devotees. However, it might take more than 3-4 hours to have darshan in the free line. There is also a VIP line for people who don’t have that much time to invest. The tickets for VIP darshan are available at the Temple Counter. The VIP tickets cost around ₹ 501 per person for civilians and ₹ 50 per person for people in Defence.
Besides, there are special arrangements available at Kamakhya Temple for senior citizens and babies. Many devotees review that the temple authority allows mothers with babies and senior citizens to move through the VIP line without paying a penny if requested.
The main celebration of Kamakhya Temple
Kamakhya Temple hosts a huge mela, known as Ambubachi Mela. The bleeding goddess Kamakhya goes through her menstruation during that time. Ambubachi Mela has other names like Ameti, or Tantric Fertility Festival. A huge number of people and Tantrics gather in the temple worldwide to worship Goddess Kamakhya.
