Kolkata Knight Riders Meets Another Loss: IPL 2022, KKR vs SRH

The pride of Bengal, Kolkata Knight Riders are facing repetitive defeats while they are facing the former Knights. After getting crushed by their former team mate and Delhi Capitals’ player Kuldeep Yadav last Sunday, Kolkata meets another devastating loss this Friday. Sunrisers’ Hyderabad won by 7 wickets with the outstanding performance of former KKR player Rahul Tripathi.

After making 175 runs, KKR sets the bar mediocre. The bowlers of Kolkata Knight Riders had a good start, but the starting batsman from SRH, William and Abhishek Sharma hit the match with a good score. And when the Maharashtrian player Rahul Tripathi took the ground, he scored 18 runs with two consecutive sixes in Varun Chakravarthy’s over. Making it a disastrous night for Varun Chakravarty, SRH took 45 runs from him in three overs.

Making an amazing partnership score, Tripathi made 71 runs off 37 balls and Aiden Markram finished at 68 off 36 balls. Tripathi, who could barely make a 50 in his KKR days stunned the audience with his fast 71 runs.

KKR replaced Ajinkya Rahane with Aaron Finch to give the team a boasted start. However, that did not do very well for the team since Finch only delivered five shots gracefully.
