Siddharth Malhotra is set to star in the “Indian Police Force”, a web series by action Filmmaker Rohit Shetty. Shetty has joined his hands with Amazon Prime and the shoot of the series will soon begin in Goa, Rohit Shetty’s lucky location. Siddharth Malhotra will play a Delhi cop in the series.

The makers have stated that the movie will be an “ode” to the selfless police officers, who spend away from their lives bringing justice and serving the people of the nation, keeping everyone safe.

Shetty gave a press statement that this series will set a bar for Indian action content, viewed by the overseas audience. The series will be released in over 240 countries and territories, giving the audience a chance in experiencing a cop story from the Indian point of view.

“I’m delighted to be collaborating with Amazon Prime Video to breathe life into this story which will transcend geographies and linguistic barriers, providing me an opportunity to showcase the same to audiences worldwide,” Rohit Shetty said in a statement.

He added, “I am super excited to be working with the amazingly talented Sidharth Malhotra in this series. I have always strived to push the envelope of action-first entertainment and with this series, I am confident we will create a new benchmark.”
