On August of this year, actress Bipasha Basu, along with her husband and fellow actor, Karan Singh Grover had announced her pregnancy to the world with a heartfelt message. Now, they have taken to Instagram again to announce their gee at welcoming their baby girl into the world.
The Bollywood power couple have made sure to include their fans in their pregnancy journey. They announced the pregnancy with a bold and brave pregnancy photo shoot which they posted to Bipasha’s Instagram. In the heartfelt message that accompanied the posts, she wrote, “A new time, a new phase, a new light adds another unique shade to our prism of life. Making us a little more whole than we used to be. We began this life individually and then we met each other and from then we were two. Too much love for only two seemed a little unfair for us to see…so soon, we who once were two will now become three. A creation manifested by our love, our baby will join us soon and add to our glee.”
Throughout the pregnancy, she remained close to her Bengali heritage and followed all the customs of the culture. Her marriage to Karan Singh Grover was also done in the traditional Bengali way, while her Baby Shower event was also celebrated as the traditional Bengali “Shath Bhokkon.”
The couple had met on the sets of Alone in 2015 and got married a year later in 2016. Now six, years after marriage, they have welcomed a baby girl into their lives.
