Former Shark Tank India personality Ashneer Grover claims that he rejected Virat Kohli as brand ambassador
Ashneer Grover revealed that he put down the offer of Virat Kohli of being a brand ambassador. He also mentioned that he rejected the offer even after Anushka Sharma was included in the package of the deal. Grover said, ‘Maine kaunse lehenge pehnane hain.”
Recently, he made his appearance in the Vagehra Vagehra podcast, where he disclosed that he not just rejected Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, but brought 11 other players instead. He also mentioned that when he shared the story with Kohli, he received praises for his business sense.
Grover recalled the story and elaborated why he rejected Virat Kohli. He mentioned that the incidents took place while he was having a discussing an IPL deal with some brokers, that person suggested Kohli and Anushka. According to Ashneer, he mocked the idea and said he is not up for selling ‘lehenga’ or ‘sherwani’ just like Manyavar. Ashneer further added that he signed 11 players with the amount that Kohli charged. However, Kohli was impressed to know the entire story from Ashneer himself.
