There is no surprise that the brand LG is updating its OLED TV range for 2023. The new features may be especially welcome if your television is kept in a brightly illuminated room. The G3 series TVs will feature LG’s Brightness Booster Max technology, which is claimed to improve picture clarity by 70 percent per pixel. So now, the amount of time you spend squinting may be less when you watch during the day. This week, Samsung announced a new lineup of monitors with its next-generation display technology that will be showcased at CES later in the coming week. It has now been revealed that LG will also offer an array of OLED TVs in 2023
Yesterday, LG made the announcement through press release at CES that it would be showcasing its most recent evo series televisions. Some special highlights are-
- Brighter screens, improved colour accuracy and cutting-edge AI capabilities are just a few of the new features you can expect to see on C3, G3, Z3 OLED evo series TVs, all of which are powered by LG’s new 9 AI Processor Gen6.
- Feature-rich AI-assisted Deep Learning technology, such as AI Sound and Picture Pro, is now available on the new Alpha series processor in order to enhance its dynamic tone mapping, brightness and also the virtual 9.1.2 surround sound in the new processor.
- LG’s new Brightness Booster Max technology will also be incorporated into the LG OLED evo G30 series. With this monitor, you get a 70% brightness increase over previous models thanks to the light-boosting algorithms and new light control architecture. Also, a revolutionary One Wall Design is included that does not leave any gap that can be seen.
There are just two pages of app content available on the 2023 OLED TVs, which requires less scrolling. There will be fewer tabs overall, but “quick cards” will make it easier to go to specific genres or sports teams. You can customize quick settings, use AI-based recommendations, and make your set compatible with your smart home using Matter support.
It is likely that prices and availability for LG’s 2023 OLED TV selection will take some time to be announced. But, G3 is undoubtedly the star of the show. Aside from that model’s increased gapless installation and brightness feature, these are primarily iterative changes that will primarily be desirable if you are actually planning to replace an older set.
