In today’s Future Ready Technology Summit, CEO and chairman of Microsoft company, Satya Nadella praised the India stack and said that India is moving towards achieving its ‘Digital India’ vision due to the rapid adoption of digital technologies.
The Microsoft CEO, who is currently in India for a four-day trip, had a very interesting encounter with Artificial Intelligence (AI) software at future ready tech Summit which was held in Bengaluru. Satya shared some humorous exchanges which he had with ChatGPT software, a widely used AI-enabled platform created by OpenAI and funded by Microsoft.
He was curious about the most sought-after South Indian tiffins, so he turned to ChatGPT. As expected, it listed idlis, dosas, vadas, uttapams, and Pongal among its responses. A biryani was also included in the list, which is one of India’s favorite dishes. Nadella prompted the chatbot with its flawed option – “I don’t think so” – despite his love of biryani. He told ChatGPT that calling Biryani a ‘tiffin’ of the South will insult his intelligence. In response to his criticism, ChatGPT apologized to him for calling biryani a tiffin.
He also spoke and gave presentation on the cutting-edge innovations taking place in India in the fields of artificial intelligence and cloud computing. While visiting India, he lauded Digital India’s efforts and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
