The Election Commission of Tripura announces a violence-free polling process by heading a flag march in the 13- Pratapgarh (SC) Assembly Constituency

The Election Commission of Tripura has announced a polling process with no tolerance to violence with an aim to conduct the upcoming Tripura Assembly elections freely and peacefully. 

By keeping the peace and freedom of the people in mind, the election commission headed for a flag march in the 13- Pratapgarh (SC) Assembly Constituency. The West Tripura District Administration took the initiative in partnership with West Tripura Police Administration. Several state and central forces officials took part in the flag march. 

The District Magistrate of West Tripura district, Debapriya Bardhan, spoke to the media and mentioned that the flag march was initiated to ensure that the assembly elections are performed freely and peacefully. He also mentioned that they had targeted some sensitive areas to conduct the elections smoothly.

While the West Tripura Superintendent of Police, Sankar Debnath, also mentioned that they have planned to continue with such fag matches unless the polls end.
