With select models, it comes with the first x86 processor with dedicated AI hardware

AMD Ryzen 7040 series chips are designed for ultrathin laptops and flagship computers. With this technology, you get the best battery life and performance in an ultrathin laptop while running on the cutting-edge 4nm process node. Additionally, Radeon 700M graphics are built into this processor, which are faster than even the Radeon RX 7900 XTX with its cutting-edge graphics technology.

AMD Ryzen 7040 AI Processor

In addition to battery life and raw performance, Ryzen 7040 processors are the first Windows x86 processors to include a dedicated AI engine. Ryzen AI’s goal is to provide cutting-edge AI experiences on your system like you have never had them before.

First Ryzen 7040 series devices are expected to be available in March, and more AMD processor products are to follow throughout the year.
