Last year, OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot has made waves since it was released to the public. Recently, Researchers have revealed that AI chatbots have passed the USMLE exam which is a US Medical Licensing Examination, according to a new study.
Among the most challenging medical license exams, the USMLE has a reputation for being tough. Engineers and medical experts are very impressed with ChatGPT’s performance since it cleared the exam without any special reinforcement or training. Indeed, it kept a score of about 60% or higher on the majority of tests, maintaining a 50% or higher rate of accuracy throughout.
Despite no specialized training or reinforcement, ChatGPT managed to pass all three exams. Moreover, ChatGPT’s explanations showed a high degree of coherence and insight. It would appear that the AI robot is finally ready to take the place of human corporate executives and managers.
A professor from Pennsylvania University has also designed an MBA exam using the AI tool, and it managed to pass it. It was a test of a core operations management subject in the MBA program. OpenAI’s AI tool ChatGPT is becoming increasingly popular across the globe, including India.
In a recent announcement, Microsoft announced it is investing multiyears and multibillions into OpenAI to accelerate breakthroughs in artificial intelligence. All the major applications like chatbots can benefit greatly from this, since they can act as a new kind of search engine providing more relevant results than that of Google or Microsoft’s Bing.
