PM to launch multiple green energy initiatives at the India Energy Week (IEW) 2023 in Bengaluru, Karnataka
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch several green energy initiatives at the first prime G20 event, India Energy Week (IEW) 2023 in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Among the multiple green energy initiatives, the launch of E20 fuel is one. The E20 is a combination of 20% of ethanol with available petrol. The government took the initiative to get the entire 20 % blending of ethanol by 2025. Besides, the oil marketing companies are also heading to set up 2G-3G ethanol plants that will elevate the progress.
Apart from that, the honorable PM of India will launch the ‘Unbottled’ Initiative of Indian Oil. This initiative has been taken to reduce the use of single-use plastic in the country. Under this initiative, every set of uniforms of IndianOil’s customer attendants will ensure the recycling of around 28 used PET bottles.
Moreover, IndianOil’s Indoor Solar Cooking System will introduce a twin cooktop. PM Modi will launch it for commercial sales. After the great success of the Indoor Solar Cooking System with a single cooktop by IndianOil, the company now launched twin cooktops to provide more convenience for users.
Besides, PM Modi will also take part at the Green Mobility Rally, where vehicles that run on green energy sources will take part to boost awareness for using green fuels.
