The Assam police have recently arrested 11 people from Dhemaji, who were linked to a recent high-profile theft case. During a top-secret police operation in a small village in Dhemaji district of Assam. The accused were caught red-handed with a huge amount of copper items, including wires and fittings.
According to the police, the accused had a connection with several other cases in various locations, including government offices and public utilities. The police considered the case a top priority and are currently heading the investigation to determine the full extent of the accused’s involvement in the thefts. S Hazowary, a police officer of Bishwanath police station, stated that all the accused who were caught red-handed were currently under custody.
Besides, the Assam police also requested the public to stay alert and report if they encountered any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods. The police have made it clear that they are committed to maintaining order and will take strong legal action against any individuals found to be involved in criminal activities.
