‘Ganga Vilas’ the World’s Longest River Cruise to Reach Assam on 17th February

On February 17, the MV Ganga Vilas, which is designated as the world’s longest river cruise, will make its arrival at Dhubri, Assam. The vessel will continue its journey as planned. The cruise was launched virtually by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 13 from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It will ultimately reach Dibrugarh on March 1, covering a distance of approximately 3200 km through NW-1 & 2 via the Indo-Bangladesh Protocol route.

Before arriving at Dibrugarh, the MV Ganga Vilas has covered its journey through Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Kolkata, and Bangladesh, spending 13 days in Assam. The cruise ship, which has three decks and 18 suites, can accommodate up to 36 tourists with all the luxurious amenities. The maiden voyage has 32 Swiss tourists who are enjoying the entire duration of the trip.
