Police Arrest Four in Eastern Arunachal Pradesh for Stealing 26 Two-Wheelers

Namsai and Tinsukia police have arrested four persons from Eastern Arunachal Pradesh concerning the theft of 26 two-wheelers over the past year. The suspects have been identified as RipunjoyDuwara (27), Babul Buragohain (35), Sanjit Shakti (32), and GirinSaikia (37).

A special investigation team (SIT) was formed to investigate the case. With the help of Tinsukia police, they were able to recover a total of 26 two-wheelers from various parts of eastern Arunachal. The recovered two-wheelers were found in Dambuk, Anini, Mudoi, and Insu/Insa areas under the Chongkham police station in the Namsai district.

Further investigation is ongoing, and police are trying to trace more people involved in the gang. The four suspects are in police custody and will be charged with theft and other related offences.
