Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. is allegedly pursuing a contract for a new web TV series based on J.K. Rowling’s popular Harry Potter book series.
Sources say that each season will adapt one of Rowling’s seven books, bringing Hogwarts and its charm to a new generation of fans.
Warner Bros.’ new streaming plan will center on this new series, which will include the Wizarding World, Lord of the Rings, and legendary superheroes like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.
Rowling will have a hand in the new series to ensure it stays true to her books, but she won’t be the show’s executive producer or principal creator.
Since the first book was released 25 years ago, the Harry Potter brand has spawned several spin-offs and goods, including the highly anticipated Hogwarts Legacy role-playing game.
The Harry Potter books have sold over 600 million copies in 85 languages, making them the best-selling book series of all time, while the eight movies based on the books have grossed over $7.7 billion worldwide.
A new TV series that brings the enchantment of Hogwarts to life again will excite fans of the series, and we can’t wait to see what Warner Bros. has in store for us in the coming months. Stay tuned for more updates!
