Assam HS 12th Result 2023: Nikhilesh Dutta and Sankalpajit Saikia Top in Science and Arts Streams
The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has announced the results for the Assam class 12 exams for Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams. Out of the 3,42,869 registered students, 2.72 lahks were from Arts, 47,485 from Science, and 20,907 from Commerce.
The results showcased a remarkable performance by the girls, with a pass percentage of 72.92% compared to 66.94% for boys. In the Arts stream, 70.12% of students passed, with 1,49,045 females and 11,186 males appearing for the exams. Meanwhile, the Commerce stream saw an overall pass percentage of 79.57%, with 6,233 females and 14,184 males appearing for the exams.
In the Science stream, the pass percentage was 84.96%, with 18,841 females and 27,542 males appearing for the exams. The Vocational stream emerged as the highest-scoring stream, with an impressive overall pass percentage of 85.61%.
Nikhilesh Dutta secured the top position in the Science stream, while Sankalpajit Saikia emerged as the topper in the Arts stream. Sukanya Kumar and Varsha Bothra clinched the first rank in the Commerce stream.
Overall, 2,40,431 students successfully passed the Assam class 12 exams out of the 3,29,901 who appeared. Congratulations to all the successful candidates on their achievements!
