OPPO has released the official version of ColorOS 13 for F19 and F19s users in India, which carries a new water-based aquatic theme. The company believes that the new user interface is highly influenced by nature, especially the conditions and shapes of the water. With latest update, the Always-On Display will now highlight the music player. Besides, it will be teamed up with the living status.
The ColorOS 13 is announced to have the same features as OxygenOS 13. It also comes with an improved Multi-Screen Connect version, allowing users to connect their devices easily. Additionally, there is also an upgraded privacy and security features of the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 which is important for the protection of the users’ data.
In terms of the new theme, OPPO explains that the ColorOS 13’s aquatic theme is designed to offer a soothing and refreshing experience. The background images are based on underwater scenes, and the icons are inspired by water droplets and other aquatic elements.
As for the Always-On Display, ColorOS 13 allows users to customize their display with a music player and living status, making it more convenient for users to access their favorite music without unlocking their devices.
Regarding the security features, the update comes with a secure keyboard feature to protect users’ personal information while typing. Also, OPPO has added a feature that enables users to block suspicious numbers and block unwanted messages.
To update to the new ColorOS 13, F19 and F19s users in India can check for the software update in the Settings app. It is recommended to back up your data before proceeding with the update to prevent any data loss.
