The immunity booster for COVID-19, Advanced Enzyme Technologies Ltd (AETL) said it’s a systemic enzyme and probiotic supplement, ImmunoSEB, and ProbioticSEB CSC has passed the randomized controlled clinical trial in terms of efficacy to resolve the post COVID-19 fatigue symptoms.
The immunity booster for COVID-19, Advanced Enzyme Technologies Ltd (AETL) said it’s a systemic enzyme and probiotic supplement, ImmunoSEB, and ProbioticSEB CSC has passed the randomized controlled clinical trial in terms of efficacy to resolve the post-covid-19 fatigue symptoms.
Dr. Abhijit K. Rathi, the Principal Scientist, AETL said, “With an aim to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the health supplements, ImmunoSEB [systemic enzyme complex] and ProbioSEB CSC3 [probiotic complex] in patients suffering from COVID-19 induced fatigue, a randomized, multi-centric, double-blind and placebo-controlled trial was conducted in 200 patients suffering from post-COVID-19 fatigue symptoms.”
He further added, “The randomized clinical trial was conducted on 200 patients who did not have an active SARS-CoV-2 infection, as determined by a negative COVID-19 test, with a complaint of post-COVID-19 fatigue, post covid-19 symptoms after recovery.”
The supplements for COVID fatigue, patients were required to have a positive COVID-19 test at any time in the past and the trial was conducted all over the centers in India;
1. Swasthya Hospital Bhopal;
2. Samvedna Hospital, Varanasi; and
3. Chirayu Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal
by investigators for 14 days.
As per the clinical report paper which was published by Switzerland-based Medicines journal on August 30, 2021, the treatment efficacy was compared by using the Chalder fatigue scale (CFQ-11) for 14days. However, the supplement which was resulted in the resolution of fatigue in a greater percentage of patients, the doctor observed.
