Farmers blocked Delhi-Rohtak National Highway
Farmers blocked Delhi-Rohtak National Highway to make the nationwide Bharat Bandh called by the Sanyukta Kisan Morcha successful. The various political parties and other organizations called for the Bharat bandh on Monday. The nationwide Bharat Bandh was called to observe the first anniversary of the protest against the three Farm Bills last year. The Delhi-Amritsar National Highway also remains blocked for the same reason.

Gangster Jitender Gogi killed by rival gang in front of Judge in Court
In a shocking turn of events, noted gangster, Jitender Gogi was shot and killed by two members of a rival gang right at the courthouse in front of the judge. The shooters were both then shot down by the police. Meanwhile, the Special Commissioner of the Delhi Armed Police recommended giving promotion to the three officers who shot the attackers down. The three commandos who shot the attackers are from the Delhi Armed Police and will be receiving an out-of-turn promotion for controlling the situation, gunning down the attackers in time, and saving the lives of other persons present inside the courtroom.

Delhi Metro makes bank by selling carbon credits
Between 2012 and 2018 The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) sold 3.55 million carbon credits and earned 19.5 crores. Delhi Metro in 2007 became the first metro/railway project to be registered under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the United Nation. CDM works under the Kyoto Protocol. CDM is a greenhouse gas offset mechanism-based project that allows the public and the private sectors in high-income countries to purchase carbon credits.
