The violence that erupted on May 3, 2023, has caused immense suffering and displaced numerous individuals in Manipur. In an effort to comprehend the magnitude of the situation, Gandhi intends to engage directly with the victims residing in the relief camps.
KC Venugopal, the Congress General Secretary, has confirmed the specifics of Gandhi’s visit. The Congress leader plans to visit both Imphal and Churachandpur, where he will interact with civil society organizations actively involved in assisting those affected by the ethnic strife.
