Multiple Earthquakes Rock Jaipur, Residents Panic But No Casualties Reported

In the early hours of Friday, three earthquakes rocked the city of Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. According to the findings of the National Centre for Seismology, the three earthquakes all took place within a span of twenty minutes.

Panicked residents of the city left their houses as soon as they noticed tremors in some regions of the city. The earthquake shocks were felt all around the area, however, there were no reports of any casualties or damage to property.

Jaipur was shaken by an earthquake that registered 4.40 on the Richter scale at 4:09 in the morning. At 4:22 in the morning, a tremor measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale struck the city again. The National Centre for Seismology said that the third earthquake, which registered a 3.4 on the Richter scale, was experienced around 4:25 in the morning.
