Shocking Video Emerges: NIT Silchar Students Assault Kitchen Staff Amid Allegations of Theft
In a horrific incident at Hostel No. 9 at NIT Silchar, a video has emerged showing students viciously attacking three kitchen staff members while hurling racist insults. The accusation that the staff stole a student’s smartphone added to the severity of the attack.
The clip, captured by a fellow student and published on the NIT Silchar official page, went viral and sparked public outrage and alarm. Surprisingly, security personnel did little to halt the violence.
Following the attack, one of the victims, Rajkumar Dusad, required medical care at Silchar Medical College and Hospital. The local police station has received a FIR, commencing an official inquiry into the event.
The administration of NIT Silchar has allegedly convened a meeting to discuss the horrible occurrence and take proper measures against individuals responsible for the attack. Increasing pressure is being placed on the institute to ensure the safety and security of all members on the campus.
