Woman in Guwahati Inspired from Shradha Walker’s case, Kills Husband and Mother-in-law and Stores Bodies in Refrigerator
A woman in the Noonmati area of Guwahati allegedly killed her husband and mother-in-law and kept their body parts in a refrigerator. The crime took place in August 2022 and only came to light on February 19, 2023, after the accused, Bandana Kalita, confessed to the murder.
Bandana said that she, along with her partner and a friend, killed her husband and mother-in-law, stored them in the refrigerator, and then dismembered their bodies. The accused later disposed of the body parts in Dawki, Meghalaya.
The police have taken Bandana Kalita and her two accomplices into custody and are investigating the motive behind the brutal murder. Their neighbors were shocked to learn about the incident and had previously witnessed the accused burning clothes and bedding on the terrace of the rented house where the murder occurred.
