In the late 1990s, there were rumors about a romantic relationship between Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar. However, they parted ways as, allegedly, their relationship was packed with infidelity, jealousy, and ultimatums. However, none of the actors gave any official statement about their relationship and split up. But, recently, Raveena broke the silence and spoke about the ‘broken engagement’ with Akshay Kumar.
Reportedly, the love between Akshay and Raveena bloomed on the set of ‘Mohra.’ Raveena opened up about how great she was at blocking out the details related to that particular phase of her life. She mentioned that she was determined not to refrain from reading anything the press printed regarding the same.
When asked about Raveena’s broken engagement with Akshay Kumar, she stated that she has long erased all the memories of those times. Raveena also mentioned in an interview that the scar from the ‘broken engagement’ is still somewhere in her life for no good reason.
Further, when Raveena was asked about a funny gossip that right after their breakup Akshay Kumar used to date women who looked like Raveena, she said, “I wouldn’t read anything that was written about that, because why unnecessarily apna blood pressure high karna?”
It is said that the rumored relationship between Raveena and Akshay ended as Akshay gave an ultimatum to Raveena to choose between him and her career. While it possibly didn’t go well, and the couple parted ways.
