Animal sets box office on fire, Likely to set new milestones globally, especially North America
Animal has been unleashed in the box office and the film’s collections are set to cross many milestones in global box offices, especially in North America.
The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial venture, Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor has been a unstoppable at the worldwide box office. In just its opening weekend, the film crossed the ₹350 crore mark globally as reported by Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst.
Bala posted on X, “For the 3-day opening weekend, #Animal grosses a whopping ₹ 360 Crs at the WW Box office.. 🔥”
The film also features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna alongside Ranbir.
Regarding the film’s success in the North American market, the analyst also posted, “Unstoppable… All guns blazing! (fireworks emoji) Animal has officially crossed the $6 million mark at North America box office! (Flexed biceps emoji) The numbers are still soaring and it will cross many more milestones (rock on and fire emojis). US release by @NirvanaCinemas and @MokshaMovies.”
The film is a revenge driven, violence filled extravaganza that revolves around the character played by Ranbir, Ranvijay/Vijay, and his unhealthy obsession with his father Balbir Singh, characterised by Anil Kapoor. Vijay sets off on a path to exact revenge once he learns about the assassination attempt on his father.
Animal clashes with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur at the box office, both releasing on the 1st of December, 2023.
