Himanta Biswa Sarma: Assam on way to becoming another Kashmir

The Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has reportedly stated that the state (Assam) may become another Jammu and Kashmir. The Chief Minister has reportedly said this while addressing a closed-door meeting at Keshav Niketan in Silchar.

Assam CM, Sarma has sought the help of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to save the Hindus from aggression by people of a particular community who have been living in the remote areas of Assam.

He also said that the Satras in the State are in greater danger due to the aggression of people.

“At the time, the Hindus living in the tea belt and far-flung border areas of the state are also on the verge of extinction because of massive aggression”. Sarma said during his meeting with key organizational people of the RSS. In view of the situation, he urged the RSS karyakartas to visit these areas and consolidate the Hindus to save such places from danger.

You can do it because you have a grassroots-level organization and a strong bond with the common people in remote areas. I request the Sangh to help the government in this direction.

Assam CM appeal to the Sangh

“It’s true that there are some people in the state who are staunch opponents of CAA and NRC. However, things have begun changing. we are trying to make them understand that the CAA and NRC are not against the interest of the Assam and Assamese people. Members from the intelligentsia, who met me recently, conveyed the message to me that Bengali Hindus are never a threat to the Assamese community. The people of Assam now understand the reality.” CM told to the RSS functionaries.
