31st Oct 2022: In a major new development for the healthcare sector in the Barak Valley region, a new Modernised Health Care Unit was just inaugurated at the Jeevan Jyoti Health Care and Research Centre Pvt. Ltd. This marks a momentous occasion for the people of the region as access to state of the art technology and medical services had been quite limited in the region. The way the multi-speciality hospital has been focussing on improving the degree and quality of care is quite remarkable.
The Intensive Care Unit was inaugurated Monday, the 31st of October in the presence of the Managing Director of the Hospital and the Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri Rajdeep Roy. All important stakeholders including the CEO of Jeevan Jyoti, Shri Prem Kiran Nath were also present during the event.
Participating in the momentous occasion were also Mrs Jayanti Devi Gulgulia, mother of Mr Ravindar Gulgulia, a Core Equity Investor in the venture as well as Dr. (Prof.) Arun Kumar Sipani, Former HOD, Department of Orthopaedics, SMCH, Silchar.
Invitations were also sent out to the members of the public and the media to become a part of the momentous occasion. If this is a mark of the things to come, the Barak Valley region is pretty soon going to be self-sufficient in terms of health care provisions.
