The much-awaited Bigg Boss 17 premiered on Colors TV and JioCinema, setting the stage for a sensational season. Hosted by Bollywood icon Salman Khan, the show promises to be more explosive than ever, with a diverse cast of contestants vying for the coveted title in the Big Boss house.
This season introduces a dynamic mix of personalities, including Udaariyaan’s Abhishek Kumar and Isha Malviya, who form the most controversial jodi (pair) of the season. In fact, fans were privy to a fiery exchange between the two on the opening night itself, which Salman himself had to mediate.
Other notable entrants include actor Rinku Dhawan, YouTube gamer Arun Mashettey, comedian Sunny Arya (Tehelka Bhai), rapper Khanzaadi (aka Firoza Khan), and model-actor Soniya Bansal.
Jigna Vora, renowned for her book “Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison,” joined as a former journalist, is also set to make her journey a part of the Big Boss experience. Criminal lawyer Sana Raees Khan, who represented Aryan Khan’s friend Avin Sahu in a high-profile drug case, also graces the Bigg Boss house.
Other participants include YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, comedian and winner of Lock Upp season 1Munawar Faruqui, and the power couple Ankita Lokhande and Vikki Jain. Additionally, international contestant Navid Sole, known as the ‘sassy’ pharmacist, and the duo Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma, promise to add a dash of romance to the season.
Mannara Chopra, cousin of Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra, graced the stage as the first confirmed contestant.
Bigg Boss 17 is set to stream on JioCinema alongside its telecast on Colors TV.
