According to the information collected by ‘The Reader’s Time’, Debattama Saha is all set to live her celeb dream. Saha is offered to play a lead role in Star Plus’ fresh soap opera ‘Shaurya aur Anokhi Ki Kahani’ from December 21, 7:00 PM IST. This resident of subash nagar, netaji road has previously marked her excellence in “Isharon Isharon Main” screened by Sony Tv and has played a lead character in a Bengali serial viz. “E Amar Gurudakshina”.
She did her schooling from Don Bosco silchar, and then she shifted to Amity University Kolkata for further studies, while taking care of her academics she kept giving auditions for several shows.
Mumbai, widely known as The Mayanagari enchanting in every aspects be it’s glamour or valour. Saha mentioned -“I gave many auditions and got shortlisted on most occasions but somehow, it did not work out. Repeated rejections and the fact that I have not visited my home in Silchar for four years, was taking a toll on me’. She further stated with a keyed up voice “I told my mother, let’s book our tickets and go back. In fact, we started packing our bags too, but then I got a call and I was informed that they would like me to play the lead character in this Star Plus show. I was living my dreams again”
Being a small town girl, it has always been tough on her end while growing up when she used to describe her aspiration of being an actress. Debottama concludes, by expressing her agony- “People used to call me and my mother mad, but I was determined, today I’m lead in a Star Plus show, and tomorrow, again I might have nothing, no shows, no rules. But I won’t give up, the more they demeaned me, the more determined I got in life”
