Did Shubman Gill and Sara Tendulkar announce their engagement?

Indian cricketer Shubman Gill remained in the headlines for his love relationship. Recently, according to a tweet, Sachin Tendulkar announced his daughter’s engagement will Gill after he broke his record. However, the user later clarified that it was a ‘satire tweet’ only.

A few months back, Shubman Gill was rumored to be engaged in a romantic relationship with Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan. Previously, he was also linked with Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, whose name is Sara as well.

Gill made the country proud by breaking the record of Sachin Tendulkar. He scored 208 runs off 149 balls in the first ODI against New Zealand, and the youngest cricketer to score a double ton in a 50-over cricket match.

After hitting the headlines by breaking the record, a tweet from a Twitter user named Harsh is trending in social media. The post states, “BREAKING: Sachin Tendulkar announces daughter Sara’s engagement with #ShubmanGill.”

Although, the user later clarified that it was just a mockery tweet and was not true. Following this, many netizens came up with interesting, hilarious, and innovative memes as reactions to the tweet. At the same time, some remained shocked by the news.
