He believes mental preparation is crucial for big games like the WTC Final, and he leaves no stone unturned to be fully prepared for the challenge.
Gill has also credited the support staff of the Gujarat Titans for his success in the ongoing season. As he mentioned during the interview, he has had honest and straightforward interactions with the Titans’ skipper Hardik Pandya, head coach Ashish Nehra, and mentor Gary Kirsten about his role in the team. The Titans are currently at the top of the table in the IPL 2023 league stage.
