For violating the IPL Code of Conduct during a match against the Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli was fined 10 per cent of his match money. Kohli has accepted responsibility for the Level 1 infraction described in Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct.
Kohli was penalized for his enthusiastic reaction to CSK batsman Shivam Dube’s wicket. Despite being one of the best batters in the world, Kohli struggled with the bat and was dismissed in the first over of a massive 227-run chase.
