In a recent development, the Silchar District Sports Association has received a second letter from the residents of Karimganj Road containing serious allegations against the President, Kisholoy Paul, and Secretary, Uttam Dutta, of 28 No. Pally Club. The allegations, outlined in the letter, accuse the club officials of engaging in the sale of club memberships, specifically to Ajay Roy, in exchange for monetary gains.
This incident follows a previous letter submitted by the residents, expressing concerns regarding the conduct of the club’s President and Secretary. It has also come to light that no meetings have been held by the 28 No. Pally Club officials for an extended period.
Prompted by these allegations, the residents have called upon the Silchar District Sports Association to intervene and take appropriate action against Kisholoy Paul and Uttam Dutta. Furthermore, they have demanded the cancellation of Ajay Roy’s membership.
In response to the escalating situation, concerned individuals plan to draft a written complaint within the next couple of days, addressed to the Members of Parliament (MP) and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing Silchar, seeking their intervention in this matter.
